I was so excited when Jennifer reached out to me about photographing her and Dustin's big day! Jennifer's sister, Bethany, and I went to X-ray school together. I was so blessed that Bethany recommended me to capture her sister's big day! Jennifer and Dustin went with a gorgeous Sea Fog Purple and gray color scheme! It was super lovely! I enjoyed the sweetest details that were added: Dustin's grandmother's pearls, a cute little bandana for their doggy Duke, the cutest invitation (which was the invite and the RSVP all in one), her cowboy boots and Cowboys socks, and a lovely little picture of her grandfather on her bouquet.

The getting ready process is always so sweet...and the calm before the storm! I LOVE capturing these moments!

I was so excited to get to do TWO first looks of the bride! We captured both reactions of her girls and her daddy! Loved these fun and sweet moments.

We were able to share some more lovely moments before the ceremony which included some beautiful prayers. First, a prayer between the bride and groom along with a special gift for the groom. Secondly, a prayer for Jennifer and her future with Dustin surrounded by her closest friends and family. How cute are her "Tie-the-Knot-With-Me" bracelets she gave to her bridesmaids?

The ceremony and reception were held at the lovely Wolftrap Farm in Gordonsville, VA. They went with a lovely meadow with rollings hills in the background for the site of their ceremony. They were able to celebrate in the company of both their family and some sweet farm animals that watched in the distance. The "entryway" to the ceremony site was a set of doors made by the groom.

Portrait time!

This was the second wedding where the couple "buried the bourbon" a month ago at the site of their venue. This tradition is meant to keep it from raining at the ceremony site on the wedding day. So far, the tradition has worked at the two weddings I've been to! The bride and groom were able to dig it up for the celebrations!

We were able to sneak away to get some lovely pictures of the bride and groom.

The reception followed after the ceremony at a rustic barn beside the meadow. They had the cutest cake topper ever! It was such a fun reception! They had some AMAZING dancers! Just you wait and see!
