Hey you guys! If you can get the chance please sign the petition so that we can keep a little treasure of Criglersville open!
A couple of weeks ago VDOT closed the Lindsay Lane Bridge in Criglersville and will be looking at options that include demolition.
I have done so many sessions at this location...along with plenty of other local photographers.
My clients absolutely love this bridge for their photos! I use it quite often and so do visitors to the area! I just stopped by last week and a couple from out of town had heard of the bridge and were excited to see it...much to their disappointment it was closed and blocked off by VDOT.
My couple that I was photographing last week had asked to see the bridge as well, so we took a little walk to the bridge to find it boarded up. The lovely folks at Possum's Store told us about the petition and we were able to sign! If you get a chance to stop in to Criglersville, run by the little store. It's right there at Lindsay Lane, so you can easily walk to the bridge from their location. They have a petition you can sign in their store as well! Below you will see an image of the bridge closure that I borrowed from Possum's Store's Facebook Page as well as some images of Possum's Store from my phone. :) It's a wonderful and quaint little shop full of art and history on your way through Criglersville! I highly recommend stopping in!

Petitions are at the following locations and will be presented to the Board of Supervisors: MWP, Syria Store, Etlan Store, Possum's Store, Madison County Visitors Center, Madison Drug Company, DuCard Vineyard and the BP Station.
